For 2 weeks, PhD researcher, Zihan Zhou, presents jewellery and research work from her doctoral project.

The opening and preview event will take place Thursday 26 September, 4-6pm (open to all, no ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ing required).

This exhibition is part of Zihan's ongoing practice-based doctoral project, 'Wearable Memories: Contemporary Jewellery Practice Based on the Study of Nomadic Culture in Northern China'.

In this project, personal emotion and collective memory are explored through jewellery making as well as theoretical investigation, with a focus on the vanishing nomadic culture of her hometown, Inner Mongolia, Northern China.

This exhibition has been supported by the Doctoral Researcher Support Fund at ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ Doctoral College.
